Cheerleading has several staff positions that make this program successful.
Cheer Directors
Cheer Directors are appointed by the President of the BAC. They manage the affairs of the cheerleading program under the general direction of the Board Of Directors. The Cheer Directors are responsible for managing the activities of the girls participating in the program and directing the efforts of the cheerleading managers and coaches. The Cheer Directors appoint cheerleaders, managers, and coaches to each squad.
Head Coaches
They are responsible for ensuring there is competent coaching at all levels and are required to have a State Police background check.
Junior Coaches
Junior coaches are typically former BAC Cheerleaders that are now in high school and they operate under the adult supervision of the head coaches. Their primary responsibility is to coordinate and teach cheers to their squad.
Coaches' Responsibilities
The basic fundamentals of cheerleading must be taught and stressed throughout the entire season. Coaches will not be allowed to smoke while on the field with the players, during practices or games.
Coaches' Conduct
At all times, coaches must ensure their behavior sets a good example for the cheerleaders in their charge. Coaches must not criticize their players in front of spectators. Coaches must accept the decisions of the judges as being fair. Coaches must not criticize another squad or its staff.
Any violation of these rules will result in disciplinary action or dismissal by action of the Board of Directors.
